A full deck transformation — 1,200 sq ft of Trex composite decking built to last, with hidden fasteners, new railings, and three stair locations rebuilt from the ground up.
The Aztec Retreat started with an existing deck that had run its course. The homeowners wanted something that would last — low maintenance, beautiful, and built right the first time. Ironhorse Designs delivered a full teardown and rebuild using Trex composite decking installed with a hidden screw and plug system for a clean, seamless finish.
All existing deck boards and railings were removed and replaced. Deck joists were inspected and replaced with new Douglas Fir lumber where needed. Three stair locations were rebuilt with matching Trex composite boards, and fresh railings were installed throughout. The result is a deck that looks sharp and will stay that way for years to come.
